About The Buffalo Hunt Roller Coaster
Buffalo Hunt is not your typical roller coaster. Recently voted the #1 Roller Coaster in the Black Hills, this ride combines the excitement of a shooting gallery with the adrenaline rush of a roller coaster.

You can purchase your ticket online or when you arrive at the Buffalo Hunt Coaster. We are conveniently located 6 miles south of downtown Rapid City – along the road to Mount Rushmore.

- Not for those with heart problems or other serious medical conditions
- Children must be over 40 inches tall to ride.
- Maximum combined weight per cart is 395 lbs.
This experience requires good weather. If it’s cancelled due to weather you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
